It's very annoying. I know who the minor royal being blackmailed was but I'm not allowed to write it down, am I? Or can I say who I have heard it is?

Of course you can!

The Royal Family traditionally do not sue people, they are far too dignified. The last time they did was over a copyright infringement over a century ago, AFAIAA.

No, but you can email me and tell me...

Please ignore that last bit of advice. I've done a bit of reading and actually you can't, you'd be in contempt of Court, which is nasty.

So even if, for example, Prince Edward or whoever it is, were to say that he's not bothered, they can still come after you.

If there is anyone on the entire planet who doesn't know already then they should just head over to Guido for the not-very-subtle hint.

Or 17 million-ish other websites which are all naming the same name now.

Bugger the Royal (metaphorically, of course)..
Why is everyone ignoring the MP supposedly up to naughty deeds peripheral to this affair?

Unless he's a LibDem of course, which would be a yawn.
