On one hand...

We have this story:

on Tuesday he [Geert Wilders] received a letter from the Home Office refusing him entry because his opinions "would threaten community security and therefore public security" in the UK.

Mr Wilders condemned the British Government as "weak and cowardly" and vowed he would make the trip anyway.

And on the other hand, we have this one
AN air ambulance and a doctor have been sent by the Government to bring dangerous Guantanamo suspect Binyam Mohamed back to Britain.

Labour say we have no option but to take him back.

But laying on a private jet stinks.

Will they send a Rolls to the airport?

And as for having no choice, I bet we fucking do. How many of these guys from Guantanamo are actually British citizens and how many live here because we are a nice place for their terrorist bases?

Appeasing a minority because they get mouthy is dangerous. The Labour government have done more to stop cohesion than any other I can think of through their hypocrisy, apparent hatred of things British and a complete disregard for civil liberties and freedom of speech.

They have to lay on a private jet, though. Do you really think any airline wants him on one of their planes?

Binbag Mahomed is Ethiopian but given indefinite leave to remain a resident in the UK. His asylum application was turned down. I would just send him to Ethiopia hand have done. I would have sent a nice, spartan military Hercules (very noisey) to fetch the bastard. And dropped him half way over the Atlantic.

I still don't know why we take any responsibility for people at Guantanamo who have no more links to this country except that they once stayed here, legally or otherwise.
Seems lessons have been learned, in the multi nation naval task force off Somalia it has been suggested that our Royal Navy confines itself to firing warning shots but avoids capturing the pirates who would then be covered by EU 'uman rights and might even claim asylum FFS !
Leave taking prisoners to the Chinese and Indians who will be able to deal with them more 'appropriatly'.
