no inspiration

I'm being rubbish about blogging at the moment. I really can't get excited or enraged by anything. Am obviously immune to the outragous behaviour of out politicians, and am getting a wee bit tired of saying the same things over and over again. So I think I am going to take a break for a bit until I can think of something worthwhile to say.

Same here, Trixy. Oh well, why don't you go for a short break to Brussels? You might return suitably full of ideas....

Or, even better, to Strasbourg.

Anywhere where I can get wound up by hideous things happening that aren't being reported.

What a jolly good idea.

Well, up here in bonny Scotland it's the opposite. Fuck all happening except fat non-entities calling others rude names, and wall-to-wall coverage.

It is quiet. I can't be bothered either. I hate Mondays...

I thought you were in the Canaries?

Mr Eugenides said...

I'm assuming that was directed at Chip... whose photo retains the power to disturb, deeply.

Indeed it was. Mr E, you are clearly not a Daily Mail reader...I am a fan, if only because it pisses Polly off so much...

Oh, I get it now.

Actually, the squirrel-faced tramp looks quite well in those photos...

But how she can play tabletennis in those (horrible) shoes is another story

Who cares about inspiration, Trixy. It will all come back right enough. Ease off and it will come flooding back or else the Tories can say something provocative and away you go.

I saw those photos and confess to hate ping pong even more than I did last night. Unless, of course, it's performed by a certain lady I once met in Cambodia.

And I'm sorry Mr. E. if you find my picture disturbing. It's a well known male response based on the fact that I have a perfectly honed body.

I have felt deeply uninspired for quite some time. The solution that works for me is to find a *comedy* picture and then write something glib about it. Tread water for a while. At least until one of the rancid cretins who call themselves our leaders open their mouths and spew forth detritus that would not be out of place in a medieval sewer.

Beautifully put, o nameless one.

Thankfully, I am now not short of inspiration, but time.

Hey, nonny nonny...
