Films vs Stats?
This was posted in my comments section and I rather like it because it highlights how the Greenie Weenies are happy to completely ignore such things like facts and instead base their debates on films.

It doesn't matter how much savings are made to go 'greener', they will be more than taken up by the increase in consumption due to population increase.
The only way to 'save the world' is to find a way to progress that does not involve growth. The way governments panic when populations start to go down is the real worry.
